What's included

Your Limited Manufacturer Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal and ordinary use of the product.

Coverage generally includes:

  • Frame assembly and structural components
  • Dashboard and controller assembly
  • Hub motor
  • Battery compartment and housing
  • Disc brake seat and lever assembly
  • Stem, fork, and handlebar
  • Lights (front and rear)
  • Charger (12 months)
  • Kickstand and decorative covers (excluding cosmetic wear)

Battery coverage: 12 months against manufacturing defects, under normal use and operating conditions.

Other components: Generally 1–2 years, depending on part and model. This does not include wear-and-tear items or consumables such as tyres, tubes, brake pads and disks, which have 90 days.

What's not included

Each model is different, so please check your Limited Manufacturing Warranty. If you would like to review your limited warranty and have lost your physical copy, you may go to our Repair Page and select your country.

The below are the main types of issues or damage not covered under warranty (these may differ per model):

  1. Customer-induced damage
Scratches, scuffs, dents, cracks, broken parts, water damage, overloading, or any performance-altering damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect.
  2. Wear-and-tear or consumables
Items expected to degrade over time such as tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, rubber stoppers, and decorative panels. These are covered for 90 days unless otherwise specified.
  3. Unauthorised modifications or repairs
Any modification to the scooter voids the warranty. This includes:
    - Using non-Riley approved parts or accessories.
    - Performing self-repairs or using unauthorised repair centres.
    - Changing the tyre type (e.g., from pneumatic to solid).
    - If you are worried about punctures, we recommend using an anti-puncture gel or carrying a puncture repair kit and portable pump instead of changing tyre type.
  4. Use of non-Riley power components
Using non-authorised batteries or chargers will void the warranty, as these can cause safety and performance issues.
  5. Normal degradation or environmental damage
Normal reduction in battery performance over time, sun fading, corrosion, or environmental exposure are not covered.
